The First Week
This week was the first week for the course EDU3234 “Readings and Project Work for Teaching Literature in ESL Contexts”, supervised by the one and only, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Malachi Edwin Vethamani. During the first class, we were asked to come out with a thesis statement for our project paper, which were due by the end of this semester.
Technically, we were to choose any topic as long as it is a literature-bound. We can either write a paper regarding certain literalists or regarding what they have produced. I have not yet came out with any specific views on what I want to write but most probably, something to do with Oscar Wilde. Maybe not about him, but his writing, or to be more specific, “The Importance of Being Earnest”.
I have few interesting ideas regarding the play, so now it is only a matter putting pen to paper. Hopefully, it would be fine with Dr. Edwin with me choosing this topic. I also hope that I would get everything in order by next two weeks, so that I can start writing my paper earlier and finish everything up before the final exam.
