The Final Draft
Things are a bit slow this week since we don’t have any class on Friday while on Monday, Dr. Edwin cancelled his class again because of his health problems. Anyway, we were instructed to come out with a letter that would be used in this upcoming Friday class. I personally, have a lot of sample regarding letters such as involving football, love and many more. It is just a matter of choosing the right one that can be implemented in the teaching of English.
Talking about our research paper, I guess that most of us already realize that we are on the final stages of the paper, and some even need to submit their final draft by tomorrow or maybe next week. In my case for example, Dr. Jaya had asked us to do a simple presentation on our research paper on Monday, next week. The comment that I received for my paper was very constructive. Everything seems to be in the right place, it is just that I need to make it longer. He even suggests that I should include few quotations (although it doesn’t count as number of word) but at least it can help people reading it to understand my work even better.
Until next week, there’s nothing much that can be said or done, except that I need to refurnished my work again and again and again, until I came out with the best possible result. After that, maybe I can concentrate on my revision since the final exam would be immediately after the Hari Raya break.
