Presentation

A rather interesting week I presumed. We kick start everything by attentively listening to few of our friends presenting their works regarding the appropriate activities that they could prepare for your students, using the diary as the main source. Above all, I personally pick Brian’s work as the best. Although it maybe swarmed with grammatical errors but hey, everyone make mistakes.

The most intriguing part of his work is the diary itself. It is an interesting diary written by a teenager who seems to get fed up cooping with math, so much until he even declares that math is his worse enemy. Brian came up with activities that require us to identify key words that can actually lead to the understanding of the diary. Generally, it is a good one.

Regarding my project paper, there is not many improvements that has been made throughout this week since our supervisor, Dr. Jayakaran is leaving for China to conduct a workshop over there. He did however, collects few works from some of us who has not yet submitted their works to him last week. My project paper, as known to many, is regarding the study of Wilfred Owen’s poems such as Anthem For Doomed Youth and Dulce Et Decorum Est. Owen’s poems are full with gore experiences that he had when he spent his time as a commander in the World War 1. He however, died in action about a week before the war ends. He was only 25 back then.

This Saturday, we would have our presentation day for the position paper with Dr. Edwin. As far as I’m concerned, everything is okay and I’m ready to go. Maybe few additional materials would not hurt. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to finish this weekend and give myself a break!
